A story about good Character, rewards and early saving culture for children
Tomi was a naughty and troublesome boy, so much, that he became a nuisance to the whole class. The class teacher and mother did everything to help Tomi change his bad behaviour, but nothing seemed to work. Finally, on his eighth birthday, his grandmother gave him a piggy bank as his birthday present, hoping that by the time he fills it up with rewards, earned from good behavior, he would have become a changed boy. At the end, Tomi became a good boy, he learnt how to save, and paid a visit to the bank for the very first time, where he opened his first bank account. He also learnt that ‘the true cost of love is ‘No charge’ and that no one should pay to be loved and to love or to be treated kindly.
