A story about the importance of Homework and self-Identification.
Teresa was an intelligent and inquisitive girl; she loved learning at school. One day at school, her class teacher gave them a homework, to try and memorize their names, age, school’s name and the names of their parents, their house address and their parents’ phone number, which she said was very important, if they ever get lost or in case of emergency. But Teresa played all day and never got to memorize all. A month later, she got lost in a busy and crowded market, just before Christmas. It was a very frightening experience for Teresa; luckily, a friendly lady Traffic Warden came to her rescue. At the end, her mother found her, and with the help of the traffic warden, Teresa learnt the importance of homework and proper self-identification and her mother also learnt that even intelligent kids can fail, if they are not properly guided, propelled to learn and the learning enforced.
